Life3A provides architecture and interiors design solutions for exceptional city living
Health and care provider Bupa has completed its first seniors living apartment development in Australia
With architecture and interiors designed by Life3A, the project incorporates 82 independent living apartments and adjoins Bupa's existing aged care home in Sydney's southern suburb of Sutherland.
The one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments come with the option of weekly visits from a registered nurse and visits from Bupa's dental, optical and hearing services.
The buildings are designed on an oblique orientation towards the sun, allowing all apartments to enjoy natural light and views of the city and surroundings.
High ceilings and expansive living spaces provide residents with well-designed interiors, coupled with ample amenities in the ground floor community hub, including a café, library lounge and cinema surrounding a resort-style pool.
Life3A's services on this project also included the initial local market research and product definition to help establish the project brief.
Life3A Sydney Principal Geoff Shaw said the project was an example of how key expertise in all aspects of later living and aged care design have helped a client deliver exceptional living environments.
"A key part of what we do is help developers and operators develop strategies that underpin their investments. We have a passion for later living and care solutions that celebrate life.
"We take a 360-degree view of each project, and our expertise and insights help our clients develop successful brands and thriving businesses in a competitive market."
