Life3A is proud to have designed an extension to RetireAustralia’s Arcadia retirement living community in Yeronga, Brisbane.

The project forms part of EDQ’s broader Yeronga TAFE masterplan redevelopment, presenting a unique opportunity to create a thoughtfully integrated, multigenerational precinct within an established inner-urban setting on the former TAFE site at Park Road.

Positioned between Villa Street and Park Road, the new building comprises 58 independent living apartments, with panoramic views to the Brisbane CBD skyline in the north and the green expanse of Yeronga Memorial Park to the south.

The design vision centres on a vibrant, well-connected retirement community that reflects Life3A’s ‘ageing better in place’ principles -supporting familiarity, health and wellbeing, legibility, distinctiveness, accessibility, comfort, and safety. Arcadia is conceived as a safe, inclusive and connected neighbourhood, enriched by defined streetscapes and generous landscaped public spaces.
