This ensures residents are able to remain in familiar surroundings as their needs change over time. Intuitive spatial layouts reduce confusion, while carefully considered colour contrasts, lighting and material selections support wayfinding and encourage independence. Each element is purposefully designed to create a calm, reassuring and empowering environment.
