Life3A has lodged a development application for a new retirement village in Brisbane on behalf of long-term client Retire Australia. Positioned along the Brisbane River in the prestigious suburb of Graceville, the project thoughtfully blends contemporary architecture with the site’s valued heritage character.

The proposal introduces three new residential buildings seamlessly integrated with two heritage-listed structures – Verney House and the former stables – creating a cohesive and respectful response to its historic setting. The development will deliver 101 generously proportioned independent living apartments, alongside 10 care suites, supporting residents to age in place with access to a full continuum of care on-site.

The application was submitted to Council in late 2024 and is anticipated to progress through a smooth code-assessable approval process, with a positive outcome expected.
