Life3A was commissioned to design a seniors living and lifestyle resort within the spectacular Louguan Valley, China. Envisioned as the world’s leading oriental resort for seniors, the project aspires to redefine later living through a harmonious fusion of landscape, culture and wellbeing.

The masterplan proposal is guided by the Esprit de Vie philosophy, celebrating the art of living well through thoughtful design, connection to nature and enriched daily experiences. The vision is to create a distinctive seniors village comprising a series of intimate, individually curated garden sanctuaries for residents, seamlessly interwoven with a vibrant central “village centre” that acts as the social and cultural heart of the community.

This central hub is conceived as a place for gathering, wellness, dining, cultural activity and lifelong learning, while the surrounding residential precincts offer moments of tranquillity, privacy and immersion in the natural landscape. Together, these elements establish a refined environment that nurtures independence, dignity and a profound sense of belonging — setting a new global benchmark for luxury seniors resort living.
