This project delivers a fully integrated ageing community in Zhuhai, one of the world’s most dynamic and rapidly evolving cities. Purpose-designed later living developments represent a new paradigm in China, moving beyond traditional models to embrace progressive, lifestyle-led approaches to ageing.

The development exemplifies this shift by introducing contemporary living options that support independence, dignity and choice for older Chinese residents. Seamlessly combining lifestyle and care, the community enables true ageing in place, strategically located adjacent to the region’s leading medical and hospital facilities to ensure comprehensive health and wellness support.

The precinct comprises a diverse mix of retirement living apartments, serviced apartments, aged care accommodation, research and development facilities, commercial and retail spaces, and a wellness hotel – creating a vibrant, self-sustaining destination for later life.

Life3A played a pivotal role in both the design and strategic planning of the project, contributing to the development of a cohesive vision that redefines the standard for integrated ageing communities in China and establishes a benchmark for future-focused seniors living developments.
