Project objective
To deliver the next generation of residential care facility prioritising health, wellness, and enablement in a non-clinical, homelike environment.
Client challenge
Multiple challenges were encountered bringing together a completely new model of care and operational system within the new built environment.
Life3A solution
Life3A worked with the client to define the new vision, research, and test options for the design of the new building to complement the new model of care proposed by the client. A key part of this role was assisting the client with change management for multiple internal stakeholders within the client organisation. Gaynes Park Manor maximises each resident’s opportunity to live their best life each day through greater personal choice, freedom, flexibility and support.
Exceptional outcome
The facility has been widely recognised as the new benchmark for aged care and dementia design with above-average occupancy levels and high levels of staff satisfaction and resident wellbeing.
