Why later living and care?

The world is rapidly ageing. By 2050 there will be more older people than children worldwide for the first time in human history. We need to think outside of the box and have a multidisciplinary and data-driven approach to the challenges facing the ageing population. We have the unique opportunity to shift the paradigm to create more inclusive, multigenerational, and universally accessible age-friendly cities of tomorrow.

Career highlight

My mum was diagnosed with early-onset dementia a few years ago and her mobility was very limited. To this day I still remember the satisfaction and the look on her face when I designed an accessible environment for her where she could regain her independence. Every time one of our new later living communities come to life it feels the same way.
