Why later living and care?
The design process is about being able to create something lasting, starting from a blank piece of paper. Using my skills in the later living sector means I can apply design solutions to the unique challenges of ageing to make a difference in the lives of our older citizens. I enjoy the opportunity to challenge the norms and create better environments for them.
Career highlight
It has been a pleasure to watch our firm grow from one office to having a global presence over the past 26 years. Our design for the Vaucluse Aged Care and Seniors Living development in Sydney incorporated numerous innovations and benchmarks. It remains an internationally relevant benchmark project for the sector. Importantly, this was a place where people wanted to live.

Life3A is the culmination of our focus on the later living sector over the past 15 years or so, enabling us to provide a unique service offering in the sector. We are bringing our extensive experience to help our clients create exceptional environments for older citizens. Our innate understanding and experience in the sector enable us to assist our clients with multidisciplinary solutions through the various phases of their development cycle, from strategy and design to research and technology solutions.
