Why later living and care?
Early on after moving to London I started working on an assisted living development for one of the care providers on the market today, back then they were just starting to develop their product. I became very interested in this field because the products are so thoroughly developed to suit the end user’s need. Working on these developments you get the chance to learn so much about the requirements and desires of the people that will live there, by accessing thorough research that is constantly being developed. It’s both exciting and rewarding.
The completion of one of the first projects I worked on. This is the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre in Kuwait, a stunning landmark building. I was lucky to be part of the team that helped deliver the building’s envelope, this was a great experience.
I enjoy the type of work and ethos involved in designing later living developments. For each project, there is an extensive amount of research involved to ensure that the result will meet the changing needs of the users. Due to Life3a’s focus on the sector, I have access to a thorough base of knowledge and experience.
