Career highlight
I was fortunate in my career to work on the client side of the industry, which has given me an insight into how broad the development business is and what my clients require to achieve a successful outcome. I have used this experience to communicate to clients how our architectural workflows can be tailored to meet and exceed the expectations from their business. We can easily become focussed on the specific tasks and outcomes required by the day to day running of our part of the design process and miss the requirements of the larger picture of development with the many elements and moving parts that have to be co-ordinated to achieve a completed project. It was incredibly valuable to learn how many stakeholders and businesses are involved in every project, each with their own specific element to consider and this has shaped my architectural practice.

Life3A has shown itself to be specialists in this type of housing and has assisted its clients in achieving complex and innovative planning successes that have gone on to create inhabited environments that are enjoyed internationally by their residents. The international talent pool and experience Life3a has to draw from is a huge asset when designing, as we gather research from our global projects which can inform the environments we work in locally.
