The Green wins 2025 National Retirement Living Award for Sustainability

Life3A is proud to announce that our design for The Green seniors living development at Tarragindi, Brisbane, has been recognised with the National Retirement Living 2025 Award for Sustainability.

Achieving a 4-Star Green Star certification, the project places sustainability at its core, with a strong focus on energy efficiency and environmentally responsible material choices. Key initiatives include on-site solar energy systems, rainwater harvesting for landscape irrigation, and a landscape-led design approach that reduces heat gain while enhancing shade and comfort.

Thoughtfully designed cross-ventilated corridors, fixed and operable shading devices, and generous roof overhangs further improve thermal performance and resident wellbeing. More than a sustainable building, The Green is a vibrant, multi-generational community that sets a new benchmark for environmentally conscious and connected living.
